Election of 1932 - This election took place in the middle of the Great Depression, Hoover was running against Franklin D. Roosevelt, FDR won the election.

Huey P. Long - A senator from Louisiana, nicknamed the "kingfish", he was a rambling man and publicized his "share our wealth plan", he often promise outrageouse things that he didn't follow through with.

First Agricultural Adjustment Act - This was an open auction of federal lands in the Tennessee Valley, the land was sold to the public for agricultural and waterpark use only in order to jumpstart the economy.
